It is indeed interesting, especially because the Newport-Inglewood in the Culver City area is one of the locations where the USGS has said that they are concerned about the next large quake occuring. The other big area of concern is the San Andreas system from San Bernardino down through the Coachella Valley.

That sag pond on Warner Avenue was/is a great indicator of local earthquakes and stress along the Newport-Inglewood in general.
