I agree with Don here - the China quake could be a result of the Carlsberg Ridge quake and that the China quake is not really large enough to generate an FFA map of its own. The China quake may trigger some regional smaller quakes within the 0-5 degree zone. I'm not surprised that people have died in this quake. I visited that region of China last year for about 1 week.... not a thought of any earthquake construction.... just build with those bricks.. if it falls, put them back up. They just don't have the funds, nor the respect for a human life, that we seem to have here in the US.
