I would expect to see a shift in the microquake pattern in southern CA to occur the next couple of days. I would also expect new microquake activity to pop up where it's not been seen before.

The area seems to be around the lower Elsinore near Borrego to the upper San Jacinto Fault zones, and to the southwest of that, down into San Diego and Tijuana areas, so yes, a sizable area will be involved.

Again, I didn't mean that movement was going to take hours, just that things would be starting in a few hours.

The main area of concern is what happens up at Coso however.
