Some thoughts and Q's for Lowell

Hi Lowell,

First, thanks again for your contributions on this board.

Second, in terms of far-field triggering, can one extrapolate backwards (or would that be interpolating?)?

For example, I live in Aptos, CA. Do you have a method that would allow me to watch for certain larger earthquakes in certain areas that are most likely to trigger a far-field event under my house?

Third, are far-field triggered events always lower in magnitude than the primary earthquake triggering them?

As if you had nothing better to do with your Sunday...

Thanks,

Cathryn
