Good Morning All!

After reading all the posts from yesterday and this AM, I felt the need to "Justify" my friend,Dennis, work. I have been following his theories and work and striving to perfect for over a year. Call my mind "abstract" but I get the jest of what he is doing. And...with all due respect to those of you that have come here, Roger, Alan,etc., I truly am honored by your presence to know that you are reading and taking in what we as a "Group" & "Team" are trying so hard to perfect. I respect you views, read them to achieve a different insight on knowledge, apply them to others theories,etc. Thats called Science! Thats how I learn is by others thoughts on the scheme of things. I have learned so much from Diane, Canie, Lucinda, Dennis, Dona, Pat from Petaluma, and All the others who post here and it has made me a much wiser person by learning from others and their views on things.

However, let me not digress!! I went back into the old EWPF, and reading over 2 months worth of Dennis's posting of signals,etc.

(1) On 8/26 - Dennis's Post on "Ants & Signals" ......."should have a good M5+ event within the next 30 days within 150 mi. of Santa Clarita. (He was pretty close in my thought process give or take a couple of weeks)

(2) On 9/10 - Dennis had a HIT with the 4.9(5.0) at the MexiCali Border based on his secondary and primary signals over the course of a few weeks he was picking up.

(3) On 9/20 - Dennis's update for that day, discussion on the 4.2 Landers aftershock. Now that I have gone back and re-read this one in particular, it jumped out at me that this was NO aftershock, it was a pre-shock to the Hector Mine EQ! The reason I say this is that after the 7.1 EQ, Big Bear had a 5.6 EQ. So, to me, this was something that Dennis had picked up on, we all didn't give it much significance when we should have, but....Dennis knew that it somehow played a role in the scheme of things.

All I'm trying to say, is we All work so hard in our different areas of trying to learn how to foresee where EQ patterns will produce a large, significant quake. I use Dennis's signals as part of my overall thought processes for up here in my area of the South Bay(Gilroy, Morgan Hill, San Juan Bautista,etc.), and there have been times when Dennis's signals "have" picked up on moderate quakes up here, and there is proof of this in past posts on the other Board.

Now that you gentlemen are here posting, I would truly like to see you're explanations and area of expertise, to be able to help me in my overall understanding of the geology and workings of it all. Instead of being critical of Dennis's work, please be more thorough in your explanations. I feel that you have just given me the "Cliff Notes", "Readers Digest" version of your thoughts and not the whole context.
