Thank you Stargzr and others who have responded. I appreciate that and am touched to think that I would get this kind of support.

But Roger is right, and being a seismologist, he does have special insight into the various processes that none of us are privy to. Sure he jumped the gun a little bit in his response to my posted prediction. But I looked at that as being more out of frustration then anything else as seismology is a very competitive field. Following an M7.1 quake, my predicted magnitudes were pretty much of a can't miss type of thing and I should have done what Roger later suggested in putting an exclusion of the Hector aftershock zone.

So thank you all for your support and thank you Roger for having kept carefull watch of what I've been doing over these last few years. We've agreed on things and we've also disagreed on some things, but in the process I've been learning as well and I hope to continue on with that relationship.
