Far-field forecast from Peru

The author(s) of the far-field forecasts have contacted me with the following information:

1) The far-field forecast for Peru posted June 23 (#8105 below) remains in effect
following today's Mw 7.2+ event. The forecast will now expire on July 15, 2001.

2) No further aftershocks in the Mw>=7 range are expected in the near future.
In all previous cases either one or two mainshocks have occurred, three
mainshocks is exceptionally rare.
