Today I was trying to find a recent message and decided to use the search function.

And then a particular thread title happened to catch my eye.

It was from way back in 2004 (about 1.5 years before I came on board). So, I started reading... and reading... and reading some more. Apparently, there was some major stuff going on back then that about tore this board to shreds. It was even shut down for a day because of it.

Shockingly, it all focuses around the same person, the same arguments, the same accusations, the same EVERYTHING as has been happening recently!!!!

Apparently, it got to the point that many members were discussing leaving this forum because of it. There were calls for that someone to be removed. There were even threats made to other board members by that one person.

I *cannot* believe everyone is still putting up with it.

I *cannot* believe that that person is still here.

Reading all that really puts a new perspective on things. It makes me re-evaluate the events I have personally been involved with on this forum. It makes me think I have underestimated that person's condition.

It makes me feel that I have NOTHING be sorry for regarding my own actions (and reactions) on this forum.

No freakin' wonder this board has dwindled to almost nothing compared to when I first joined in 2006.

All because of that one person.

I don't think I want to be here anymore.
