why would I ever want a parallel board?

I did download everything at one point in time - to move servers - part of the issue is the servers put a limit on the number of files you can list - it's something like 2000 = each post is a file - we have more than 2000 posts in the message directory and this causes no end to troubles - (like search programs)- also makes it difficult to download the files if they can't be listed..
