physics, and a brief history of Chris

actually, I failed physics in high school. I also don't have a high school diploma...I don't even know if I would have gotten one if I had shown up for graduation. And, my high school principal was sentenced to death for mass murder. There was a book and a mini-series.

All of this is true.

I had to sneak into college. That was after a couple of years in Woolworth's and a shipyard stockroom.

I had a lot of Physics later. Also, a lot of math: 8 college math classes...the first one being remedial, the later ones being Laplace transforms and stuff like that. What a complete waste of time the advanced math was for me. I only learned how to do problems, not to understand it or make use of it. SOHCAHTOA and V=d/t are about all I use beyond arithmetic.

And, yes, I hear ear tones. So do other people in my family. We never hear them at the same time. And, I've never noticed a connection with earthquakes.

You certainly believe some odd things. You may have noticed that no one else who posts here believes many of these things.

I'm posting as I am downloading a couple of gigabytes of seismic reflection data recorded in Ross Sea, from a site in Trieste Italy. I've been doing this all afternoon, alternating with pickaxing a tiny lawn, from which I extracted at least 3 tons of rocks. This gave me a hernia, my second. Think I'll get it operated while I still have health insurance. I may be smart, but that does not mean I have common sense about certain things.
