When I saw your post I had to look at the map and it seems like New Madrid (Chris where are you?) is equidistant from both. Coincidence maybe... Oh, and BTW, they have a tsunami link with nothing to connect it attached to this quake. Since it was onshore, it seems there is confusion going on or something. Also, some of the (meteorology) models are showing Hurricane Irene heading for a direct hit on DC, too. Should be an interesting time.
