OT: Benazir Bhutto---a blow for ignorance
Posted by PennyB on December 27, 2007 at 16:06:38:

So sad about the assassination of Benazir Bhutto in Pakistan. This not only represents the rise of ignorant violence in the world, but the worsening oppression of women in so many countries.

Also reading on the news that possible human footprints were found INSIDE the area of the Siberian Tiger's cage, and that may have helped or provoked the animal to escape. Also, some stuff found in the cage that suggests people were throwing things at the animal. This may NOT be verified, but it wouldn't surprise me. And no, I'm not just blaming the victims on this.

Sometimes I wonder why Mother Earth tolerates any humans at all.

Sorry--very depressing day!
