Agreed that it's tragic that someone lost their life. However, you have the luxury of having an intelligent thinking mind (at least, I hope so) and can reason the consequences of any possible actions, where as the tiger mainly relies on instinct.

If, as is suggested, the victims were taunting the tiger, then it is apparent that they were not using that gray matter they were born with very well. We all make mistakes, and it's unfortunate the lesson learned here came at a very high price, but it's difficult to have complete sympathy for them if they were indeed taunting the tiger.

"Common sense" long ago became an oxymoron.

It's sad all the way around - people hurt, one dead as well as a beautiful animal. There are no winners here regardless of anyones opinions on the matter.
