You're right; setting the resolution fixes the aspect ratio. I just hadn't set it that high.

No, no disk, scarcely any docs. It's a SOYO 19" and my PC has a nVidia 2 onboard. Got the driver downloaded and Linux said 1400 would work for the monitor but not the card.

But so far, it does. Actually, I backed down to 1280 which is fairly good.
