yeah - considering what I started on in 1976! 5mb hard drive, 64K of ram! and that was a BIG DEAL!

I bought parts - put it together.. all told about $1200-$1,300 - but good stuff.

Considering I use them a long time, the 299 walmart special probably would have driven me nuts!

I don't stress the system too hard.. a little adobe photoshop, excel spreadsheets, microsoft office stuff.. but I'm starting work on writing a new windows program and those windows development tools take lots of memory...
