I've been having system problems myself lately (probably an overheating video card) and am therefore planning a new system. $299 might buy me the CPU. :) Anyway, I've reduced my heat load for the time being by: >Adding a big muffin fan to blow extra air into the case. Actually I already had this for really hot days anyway. >Disconnecting 3 of my hard drives. I can do most stuff on just the one for now. >Not using Seti@Home which results in 100% CPU usage and lots of heat. The CPU temp alone is down 15-20 degrees F. I'm planning for some exotic cooling and air filtering for the next system. I might even end up designing and building my own case.
