I agree that we should be able to walk before we can run. Problem is that the evaluation is requiring the running before the walking.

If a weather forecaster predicted a hurricane would strike the Texas coast line and then later it turns towards the Florida panhandle, the weather forecaster wouldn't be allowed to change the prediction because he'd already previously issued it?

Another way to look at this is a person had was almost ready to be convicted for murder. A witness finally steps forward that saw somebody else do the deed. We should keep that new witness out of the trial because we aren't allowed to have any new information?

Sorry guys, but I don't agree.
