OK, Timothy - I'll bite. Is this your own theory? If you picked it up somewhere else, could you provide a reference? I mean, specifically, that actual, measurable and detectable (at the surface) seismic energy is being released by the process of hydrothermal power plant water cooling hot rocks. I imagine something like that could occur in a laboratory setting, but . . . If there are actual quakes showing up on lists, attributed to this process by someone, I'd be interested in finding that out. I would imagine that their magnitudes would be close to zero or even negative. If they are not larger than that, then what is the point of the whole discussion? Seems like chasing rabbits. Michael F.
