EQF, the newsgroup I created, alt.earthquakes.predictions, would be ideal for what you are asking of Canie. When I made that group, I did not intend it for only skeptics like me. I wanted it for everyone.

I feel newsgroups have several key advantages over web forums that may be important for what you propose.

Of course, the con to the idea is that the number of people who don't even know what a "newsgroup" is is growing. Also, if your only access to usenet is through Google, then you're completely out of luck, as I have yet to figure out how to get them to carry the group.
