Hi EQF; I don't see any point in keeping a record of what predictors say after the fact. Re Perl, no. TB doesn't work that way but I think it COULD. Your DO statement is similar to the SUBROUTINE and even more similar to the TB "chain" command which lets TB exit to an external program and then return to the original program. It should be possible to trap errors and write a file of variables representing the current state before aborting.
