You are probably used to dealing with people who are simply posting predictions to bulletin boards and Newsgroups. I am talking about government and university scientists and serious professionals around the world. Those people are unlikely to fabricate information regarding what they did and did not predict. And at the moment there is no good forum for them to use in exchanging that important information. We need to be able to determine which forecasting methods work and which ones don't. At present there is no easy way to do that.
