I think this is what your looking for:
15Mar2001 00:39:11.0 8.8N 93.9E 33 M =5.4 M NEI NICOBAR ISLANDS, INDIA 1826

This is the same day, about 43 before the 5.9 at:
15Mar2001 01:22:43.0 8.6N 94.0E 33 M =5.9 M*NEI NICOBAR ISLANDS, INDIA 1531

These were found on Red Puma:
http://www.seismo.ethz.ch/redpuma/redpuma_ami_list.html

NEIC shows:
2001 03 15 01:22:43.0 8.660N 93.976E 33N 5.7 5.9 NICOBAR ISLANDS, INDIA REGION.
2001 03 15 00:39:11.0 8.721N 93.905E 33N 5.4 4.9 NICOBAR ISLANDS, INDIA REGION

I find it odd that the 5.4 has only one source, NEIC on Red Puma. I would have expected a quake of this magnitude to have additional sources on Red Puma.

By the way, they distance between them is only 10 Km.
