the chart

My concern with the chart is that this is what people will be looking at when trying to determine whether or not the predictor has some semblance of reliability. They won't be going thru past archives to do any research on that predictor nor will they be going thru EQ cataloges to do that research either. I know I wouldn't. It takes too much time.

By keeping the chart black and white and keeping all subjectiveness out of it, the person looking at the chart is relieved of making an informed choice as to what they want to do. They'll only see that this person can't hit the broad side of the barn when in fact they weren't really all that far from it.

So in my view, this so-called "subjectiveness" is a required element of the chart along with the allowance of "fuzzy edges" for hit and miss tracking.
