Thanks for your response. I once, after a reading in Los Gatos, sold about that many books. I was on the docket with Frances Mayes ("Under the Tuscan Sun") and Carl Djerassi, the inventor of the modern birth control pill. It was an eclectic luncheon for sure.

I'm glad you enjoy book signings. I think if you had to read a chapter of your book, instead of just talk about the ideas within, you might come away with a different experience. But maybe not. Again, best of luck and have fun!
