They were forecasting rain at 1.5 inches per hour until noon tomorrow here which would give us about 15 inches of rain in 24 hours. That's more than 82, when there was 20 inches of rain in 72 hours. We had the EBS on earlier providing flood warnings and watches for the entire SF Bay Area. This time no one is immune, except for now, Hollister. But that could change on Monday. The CHP traffic alert page is a good one to follow for slides and flooding. Apparently hwy 49 up your way is closed due to a mud slide. And Rio Nido up by Russian River has 100 residents stranded in their homes as a river runs across the main road. It's getting interesting.

My plans for tomorrow were to investigate the epicenter of the latest quake in Windsor. Looks like its on the edge of an alluvian fan. That spot has had at least 4 quakes very recently. But, if its flooded, the field trip will have to be postponed. Ah shucks.
