Thanks John, that is pretty much what I have been doing, although it does not hurt to be reminded. Hmm....I guess I'll not mention the little tall building item, because I don't know how credible it is and because it could be misinterpreted. There was a question from an emergency manager about unreinforced masonry buildings and retrofitting of those buildings...I think the question was to Lucy Jones...she mentioned the San Simeon quake and the 2 fatalities in an URMB and that the reinforced building next door had no(?) damage. But, more interesting, the level to which buildings are reinforced varies by city, and one of the cities (I forget which, east of LA?) is full of buildings that either are not reinforced, or are not very well reinforced.
