Great time? I avoid meetings and workshops. I am either bored or I talk too much...never a happy medium. It was not real clear what the point of the 1 day science meeting the day before the presentations to the emergency managers was...we covered a lot of this at the annual SCEC meeting. The meeting the next day, in which I had no role and kept quiet, was somewhat interesting because it showed a little how to present to non-earth scientists...esp. Lucy Jones' presentation...
