The quake occured at 14:56:07 UTC. The post on EEC is time stamped "Today at 12:40 PM". If Pacific, that's 19:40 UTC. If Eastern, that's 16:40 UTC. About 2 to 5 hours after the quake. The post on JOB's site is time stamped "11:39:12 AM". If Pacific, that's 18:39:12 UTC. If Eastern, that's 15:39:12 UTC. About .75 to 3.75 hours after the quake. Posting the contents of an email to yourself is meaningless as it's not possible to verify it's authenticity. For example, below you will find an email (complete with headers) which I sent to myself earlier this year. Can you determine if it's authentic? I'll bet you can't. And once again, my posting is not to make an accusation, but merely to point out the flaw in the method attempting to certify the prediction as authentic. If you want to play the game of predicting earthquakes, you have to do it in a way that is verifiable and traceable. Even the quake postings here on this board, or the maps I post on my own website are not sufficiently certifiable. I have a solution in mind, but it may take a couple weeks to set up. ===== From - Tue Mar 21 00:04:03 2006 X-Account-Key: account3 X-UIDL: 1142926533.89873.host246.ipowerweb.com X-Mozilla-Status: 0001 X-Mozilla-Status2: 00000000 Return-Path: Delivered-To: skywise7-skywise@skywise711.com Received: (qmail 89869 invoked by uid 10015); 21 Mar 2006 07:35:33 -0000 Received: from 66.51.199.73 by host246.ipowerweb.com (envelope-from , uid 1002) with qmail-scanner-1.25st (clamdscan: 0.88/1244. spamassassin: 3.1.0. perlscan: 1.25st.
