Canary...what window? I don't see a box on that image. I've looked at this page onece before when it was linked from here. Many of the clouds look fairly ordinary. When there is no reason why strange clouds should be seen in advance of an earthquake...at least that I know about, then the burden of proof is on the proposer if they want to be taken seriously. And, probably the only way for them to be taken seriously is for their prediction record to be evaluated independently by someone who knows what they are doing.

On the other hand: I am at least mildly interested in any discussion there might be on this page on why earthquake clouds should occur. And...I have seen definite earthquake clouds myself on T.V....but they occurred immediately after large aftershocks of the Northridge quake...and they were dust clouds. I could not figure out how the dust got, within minutes, mixed rather high into the air....until later when I heard a talk that there was very extensive landsliding in the Santa Susana Mountains...
