Michael, Just for fun I ran the numbers just like I would for my group. 12 seconds would produce a quake at 450 miles south of you. This would "most likely" place your possible quake in the Baja area either on the ocean side of the peninsula, on land or possibly 66 miles south of the 4.9 San Felipe quake occurring 4/27/05 on the lower extension of the San Andreas Fault. Your odds of getting a quake in that location in consideration of recent events are very good.
