Now had a short tone in the left ear @ 11:25 pacific, 5 seconds before it tapered off and was gone by 7 seconds. Oddly enough I'm about to start working on my house for the day and had earplugs in. I guess the previous eartone was not an ear issue, as this one is the other ear. Curious .......

I think i asked this before but do you count from the start of the tone until it start dropping out or until you can no longer hear it? Does the trail off time make any difference?
