Hi Roger, These are the types of data and studies that I am talking about. The four circled groups of data points in my opinion show that those earthquakes occurred when the sun – Earth – moon angle has specific values. And the line that you can see to the left of the second group from the top is significant. http://www.freewebz/com/eq-forecasting/90-05v.gif In saying the following I am not trying to be insulting but rather am attempting to provide a perspective. On a scale of 1 to 100 the effects that you are trying to examine have a level of complexity of perhaps 5. The ones that I am actually working with would have a complexity level of 100. My forecasting programs generate those angle data but don’t use them. I look at the angle data when I am trying to make a final decision regarding where I think that an earthquake could occur.Actually, the angle data are important. And they should be in use. But my programs are not yet sophisticated enough to make use of them. I don’t yet know exactly what importance I should assign to them and so cannot add any equations for them to my program.
