Prediction - South Central, CA

Hi All,

I have a bit a problem on my hands in that this ear tone prediction comes with a caveat in that I could not determine exactly when the tone stopped and the trailing began, so bear with one on this one.

I am not geologically familiar with this area of CA, nor do I get frequent ear tones for this location either, thus I have to narrow down the location with my best ferreting skills.

As for magnitude, it won't be small. I can with relative certainly it will be over a 4, most likely a 4.5+.

Time, between now and the next ten days.

As for location, this is what I have:
It needs to come from a place that has a firm rock structure. I'm actually thinking it may be on the San Andreas as the lower section of the Carrizo Plain in a place called New Cuyama in the east, or if it stays near the coast we have Lompoc. If it goes to the (the outer rim) we are in Ventura to Casatic Dam.

Chris I am sure knows the geological makeup of this area and perhaps he can define some of these places either being of dense hard rock, versus areas which are of a more (dirt) Earthy spectrum.

So this is what I have to offer, though it surely is not as well defined as I like it to be, but I know it will be south of the San Simeon Area and not related to that particular quake. I think it bears a heads up message.

Thanks for your patience...Petra
