Canie flare correlation

Canie-do you remember what your correlation was? Did you have a list of the biggest flares? I'd like to hear what Roger thinks of his graph/list. I'd say the correlation was weak-but you can take a weak correlation and it can be statistically significant if there are large numbers of events being played with.....That is why I am interested in these types of plots-I can then go and look at Lowell's thesis and see what he had done....Now the proton flux is down, and the magentic storm and flare activity over for now-let's see what happens the next 2-3 days, as this is the third largest flare in 30 years, and the magnetic storm was extreme and long lasting. The X20 flare in 2001, #1 on Roger's list, was not followed by any unusual number of M5 quakes within a week, although #2 and #4 on the list were. Chris
