Hi All,

I always ask a lot of why questions and after the above piece I was wondering why the first link on Google was first. I couldn't figure it out, so I went to seaching for "predicting earthquakes" to see if the same folks were over there. They are not. I'm not there either, by may work on that. I was wondering what I might do to become closer to #1 instead of around 40ish. This will take some time for consideration.

I did run across one link on the Earth/Sun thing, but found so many other good articles, the one I'm linking I thought might be more fun for us folks. Its a class project at UCB about forming two teams to either predict or prevent an earthquake. You have to read the criteria to decide which team you wish to be on. Its kind of fun, so I thought I'd share it with you. Go have a look and decide which team you'd like to be on. Seems easy here, but it isn't.

But back to the net. I hate PDF files, they really should be PDT's Pretty Darn Tardy. They are slow to load and horribly slow to read. I think they should be banned from the net entirely.

If anyone has a clue as to why anything is first on the Google Search for Earthquake Prediction, I'd love to hear your responses. I like to be first a lot, so any clues as to be first, would be greatly appreciated. I think it may be easier to be first on Google than first at quake prediction, but it does take imagination and probably some good ferreting skills. I've got A, but I'm not sure about B.

Anyway, have some fun and pick your team of choice.

Petra
