My previous answer was posted too soon - when I tried "Earthwaves Board Simple Search" after accessing this BB through Google, the Earthwaves search engine wasn't available. All archives could be opened, but evidently someone would need to read through them to find a specific person or post. The search did work when I accessed Earthwaves directly (but searching archives from this dial-up connection takes so long that usually I abandon searches before results appear).
