Folks, the discussions which are connected with my threads are not accomplishing much. With technical discussions such as these you have to start at point A and then move on to B, C, D, and E etc. But we never seem to be able to get past point A with these discussions.

Perhaps the main difficulty arises from the fact that the subject matter is different than what geology professionals usually discuss. There are other scientists who are not posting notes here who do understand what I am talking about. It is not just smoke and mirrors. But for many or most it does seem to represent a mystery.

The earthquakes are actually in control here. And you have to determine how they are choosing to work. They are not going to conform to what people might want them to do.

In any case, since discussion related progress appears to be almost impossible the notes which I am posting are hopefully at least serving as status reports. And on the positive side, comments which have been posted lately appear to have a friendlier tone than some which were posted in the past. It is nice to see that happening.
