Not too long ago I sent a number of geology professionals in one country an e-mail note advising them to do something (not particularly important) with regard to forecasting efforts in their country. My note also stated that copies of it were being sent to quite a few news services in their country. And they were.

Well, those geologists are now doing what I recommended. And it sounds like they are happy with the results. I do not know if their efforts are the result of my recommendation or if that happened by coincidence. But it appears that for whatever reason, at least some people are making some progress.
