Holding my Breath

Hi Everyone,

I just went into the archives and reread Don's prediction for that 6+ quake in the Bay Area. He gave 2 time periods where he thought it was most likely. One +/- 2 days of 5/7 (which was today!) and the other +/- 2 days of 5/9 which starting tomorrow (Wednesday) puts us in that window.

So I ask Don, do you have any updates? I know your method isn't widely known, we just know you have a field of data you work and quote from. Any change in this data to reaffirm your thoughts for this window or updating it? In the meantime, I guess we are all just holding our breath to see what happens.

I must say since you have made that prediction, there has been some rather unusual popcorn variety quakes in the Bay Area. Most notably near the San Andreas south of Palo ALto about 2 weeks ago and a small burst out near Livermore. The quakes usually seem to stay confined to the Calaveras, San Andreas, a little Hayward and some Rodgers Creek. These quakes were interesting in that they occured in clusters and away from the main fault lines. At any rate, I found those odd ones to be relevant to your posts. That is way too coincidental for those areas to become active days after you said there would be an increase...so your data is obviously on to something.

Todd
