Hi Todd. Thank you for the information about the Rio Vista quake. I had forgotten about that area. Here is my forecast for that area made on 04/16/2002. Take Care…Don in creepy town Magnitude: 2.3-3.7Ml From: 05/08/2002UTC - To: 05/12/2002UTC Location: Vacaville, California Lat: 38.2N - Long: 121.9W - Range: 35Km Magnitude: 2.3-3.7Ml From: 05/08/2002UTC - To: 05/12/2002UTC Location: Vacaville, California Lat: 38.2N - Long: 121.9W - Range: 35Km Hi All. In 1892 there were two quakes that struck near Vacaville, California and Winters, California. The first one was a 6.4M at 38.40N/122.00W on 04/19/1892. This is about 8Km north of Vacaville. The second one was a 6.2 M at 38.50N/121.90W on 04/21/1892. This is about 8Km SW of Winters. Both occurred on the Great Valley fault. This fault is a thrust fault. I have data that shows a 2.3 to 3.7 at 38.2N/121.9W. This is about 20Km SSE of Vacaville, California. Should occur on 05/10/2002 +/- 2 days. Could this be a repeat of the quakes in 1892? I rather doubt it, but thought I would post it anyway. By the way it was the last quake in the data I requested for the Bay Area when I first noticed there was going to be more then normal data for the Bay Area over a short period of time.
