Quiet in Southern California |
Hi - I'm just adding a bit to the extended quiet we've been having. In a message below Chris suggested a little contest to see when and where the next 3.0+ is going to occur in Southern Cal - 2 entries so far - cathryn and myself. The last event that was a 3 or better in Southern Cal was on April 11 near Calexico - that week there were 3 quakes of magnitude 3 or better in the Calexico area and one good sized Hector Mine aftershock (4.4) on April 5th. So far its been about 16 days since we've seen a 3.0 or better - Anyone else want to join the contest?
