Proposed limits on best fit
Posted by Roger Hunter on March 16, 2002 at 11:08:28:

Hi all;

Since no one responded to my previous question, I propose the following limits on quakes to be considered as "best fit".

1) For date, 3 times the window size

2) For distance, 3 times either the given radius or 3 times the largest distance to a rectange corner.

3) For size, +- 0.3 mag units applied to upper and lower mag. range values given.

These limits to be used in deciding if a quake should be considered at all.

Any comments or objections before I implement them?

Roger
