Great Roger....

Would you consider adding the ring map program outputs that traverse the fault lines ?

IOW, this would just be the ring map program but which only indicates for CA faults only.

Maybe the shifting is caused by the monitor pixel resolution being set to grainy (low) or something...have you checked that angle out ?

Also, what about doing the same type reduced ring map with "faults" for the New Madrid region ? As you know, historical seismicity lines may have to substitue for "fault lines" in this case.

Another option is to add a zoom capability to the ring map program where the fault lines are added when the zoom area includes CA or New Madrid. What do you think ?
