Piton de la Fournaise has been erupting in the Indian Ocean on Reunion Island for a while, with Lava flows entering the sea. The French news (Antenne 2) shows that a strong cyclone (hurricane) is near the island-think 180 km/hr winds sustained. I think they will show more spectacular footage tomorrow-as they may have lost power before the height of the storm. Chris
