Hi Billion,

This kind of activity is more normal. It has been more than quiet in that area for a long time.

The good news is that most of the quakes occur offshore and thus property damage is a lot less than it could be. The largest quake to ever hit the area was in 1994 and though it was felt, there was no damage.

But now that these quakes have arrived, if things continue to be active there, then we can look at places such as Redding and into Mt. Lassen and Burney for renewed activity. Its a repeating pattern for the area.
