Open Question

A few months ago we heard of some new discovery that plate just offshore or onshore I forget,in Oregon, were moving in the opposite direction of the whole....Does anyone remember that story? I would love to get a copy to re-read...To me it shows that science is a learning place...everyone learns--even the teachers...old hypothesis and ideas can change... by discovery...they confound some set in their ways..For example when our first Jupiter probe was sending back pictures...we heard scientists amazed at some of the gaseous rings...and said on live TV that if those pictures were correct, they would at least break the Laws of Thermodynamics...Now here we had science questioning Laws, not Theories... It is a fascinating world...and universe...and even though both of you are in disagreement, I am learning from that discourse...and I'll bet others are also!

SINCERELY!
Bob
