A number of predictors feel that the sun-moon angle has some influence over quakes.

I've done sun-moon distributions before that showed nothing but I got to wondering if location mattered. If quakes in different areas had different triggering angles, lumping them all together would mask it.

So I divided the world into 5 degree lat-lon squares, sorted all the mag 6+ quakes into the proper square and determined the sun-moon angle for each quake.

Still no pattern.

Is anyone surprised?
