Re: Research project results |
A question. Define "changes direction". The planets don't change direction other than 'turning' to go around the Sun, as opposed to flying off into space forever in a straight line. Any apparent change in direction of their motions in the night sky is an illusion caused by our changing perspective of the Universe as we ourselves are in motion around the Sun. It is not unlike the change in the apparent change in position of a distant against the more distant mountains as you drive past on the highway. And, if that is exactly what you refer to, how do you propose that such an apparent and illusory phenomenon has any tangible and physical effect?
