I have heard of "the quiet before the storm" theory, and observed it on many occasions. Yes, I agree with you that the southland looks a bit ominous right now.

I'm also concerned with those microquakes on the SAF in the locked zone, where the Garlock intersects and northward. I'm wondering if this isn't where Petra's Deep, Dark and Ugly is hatching it's evil plan. I hope so, as the population in this area is sparse.
