Someone write a new program!

Thanks for the catalogue location. It is quite fast using my SHELL account on a Unix machine.... but I wish someone would write a real nice interface to the online catalogues. The ones that have been around for a few years are very tedious. Not user friendly. USGS doesn't like to play with things unless they break. May be good advice, however considering the high number of hack atacks USGS gets, it may be a good time to hire someone like Steve Malone. Malone wrote some very nice inner workings software for IRIS. A lot of his work is apparent around EQ circles...I'm sure he would beg out due to time constraints but I'll bet there is someone out there with computer savvy....Hey Canie wanna give it a go:-)--?
